A Rabbit's Thesis

I got this on the net while finishing my thesis and it really caught me. Enjoy it!

One sunny day a rabbit came out of her hole in the ground to enjoy the fine weather. The day was so nice that she became careless and a fox snuck up behind her and caught her."I am going to eat you for lunch!", said the fox."Wait!", replied the rabbit, "You should at least wait a few days.""Oh yeah? Why should I wait?""Well, I am just finishing my thesis on The Superiority of Rabbits over Foxes and Wolves.""Are you crazy? I should eat you right now! Everybody knows that a fox will always win over a rabbit.""Not really, not according to my research. If you like, you can come into my hole and read it for yourself. If you are not convinced, you can go ahead and have me for lunch.""You really are crazy!" But since the fox was curious and had nothing to lose, it went with the rabbit. The fox never came out.A few days later the rabbit was again taking a break from writing and sure enough, a wolf came out of the bushes and was ready to set upon her."Wait!" yelled the rabbit, "you can't eat me right now.""And why might that be, my furry appetizer?""I am almost finished writing my thesis on The Superiority of Rabbits over Foxes and Wolves."The wolf laughed so hard that it almost lost its grip on the rabbit."Maybe I shouldn't eat you. You really are sick...in the head. You might have something contagious.""Come and read it for yourself. You can eat me afterward if you disagree with my conclusions."So the wolf went down into the rabbit's hole...and never came out.The rabbit finished her thesis and was out celebrating in the local lettuce patch. Another rabbit came along and asked, "What's up? You seem very happy.""Yup, I just finished my thesis.""Congratulations. What's it about?""The Superiority of Rabbits over Foxes and Wolves.""Are you sure? That doesn't sound right.""Oh yes. Come and read it for yourself."So together they went down into the rabbit's hole. As they entered, the friend saw the typical graduate student abode, albeit a rather messy one after writing a thesis.The computer with the controversial work was in one corner. To the right there was a pile of fox bones, to the left a pile of wolf bones. And in the middle was a large, well-fed lion.

The moral of the story:

• The title of your thesis doesn't matter.
• The subject doesn't matter.
• The research doesn't matter.
• All that matters is who your advisor is.

Ehem! Dalam kesibukan di minggu akhir kuliah ni sempat lagi aku join xplorace ni. Padahal thesis nk submit minggu depan pun belum siap lagi. 2 minggu lagi plak final exam.. Tapi team 'KELAJUAN' yang dari dari Badi, aku, Dot, dan Adib join gak xplorace ni. Dah la kami register lambat, pergi tempat pertandingan pun lambat gak. Nasib baik diorang tak mula lagi masa kitaorang sampai kat pusat sukan. First task kami kena buat perahu dengan pastik sampah, kotak dan selotape untuk seberangi kolam renang UM. Balut punya balut, jadila rakit yang tak boleh dinaiki. So, Adib pun berenang bawak rakit tu. Tapi jalan dah nak sampai hujung kolam tu, kaki dia plak krem. Sebab dia pijak lantai pengadil suruh Adib patah balik. So, aku pun ganti Adib berenang. Pancit pak cik berenang sebab tak warm up. Lepas tu lari pergi LRT untuk ke Pasar Seni. Kat Pasar Seni kami warna bendera Malaysia. Then, belari lagi ke Masjid Jamek. Kat sana kami kena hafal 2o tempat bersejarah dalam masa 10 saat. Sebab penat kami hanya ingat 3 je tampat tu. So, kami kena penalti 3minit X 17 = 51 minit sebelum dapat clue seterusnya. Lepas tu kami dapat clue kena pergi penjara pudu untuk jumpa Hang Tuah. Task kami kat sana kena cari 3 org berlainan bangsa untuk baca rukun negara depan hang tuah tu. Kami dapat cari brother melayu sorang, amoi sorang dan sorang lagi Adib upah bangla yang sedang buat constrution kat tepi jalan tu. Then, lepas tu kami pergi ke Maybank Kat Bukit Bintang. Task kami kena jual sebatang power bar dengan RM 10. Kami tak tau yang power bar tu sebatang rm10. So,kami jual 3 power bar dan 2 air kotak yang ada dalam goodie bag kami kat awek yang lalu kat situ dengan harga rm10. Lepas tu kami bergerak ke medan tuanku. Kat sana kami kena makan roti canai atau minum teh tarik kat kedai mamak. Lepas tu clue seterusnya kami kena pergi ke KLCC.Kami masuk petrosains dan buat task kat sana. Lepas tu terus gerak balik ke tasik UM untuk berkayak dan flying fox. Lepas tu kami kena pergi ke DTC dan kat sana la paling perit. Kami kena habiskan 2 batang roti perancis made in carefour yang keras lagi panjang dengan hanya minum sebotol air mineral kecik. Sembelit aku sebab roti. Selepas tu, kami mara ke task yang seterusnya iaitu mengira gelang getah dalam telur ayam cair. Kami berjaya mengira dengan tepat tapi satu badan kami bau telur ayam. Team kami adalah team kategori B yang pertama sampai di checkpoint terakhir dan task yang terakhir adalah membuat larian RM2000 dengan riangnya..hahaha... Kami dapat tempat pertama.
